Moroes is dead! (But the Maiden of Virtue isn’t)
April 17th, 2007 Posted in Bosses, Burning CrusadeMoroes is dead. He has garotted his last victim, and boy did it hurt.
If the first boss in Karazhan was too easy, I think Moroes was just right. A challenge but when everything goes to plan an achievable one. The tactics of what strategies to use to keep his friends busy make for an interesting challenge, especially as which ones show up is random from week to week.
And that’s something that’s replicated across the raid – the Opera House event is different every week, too, so there’s a bit of variety on to of the more one-trick bosses like Maiden and Attumen.
Maiden is a pretty interesting fight too. Everyone has to stand in the right place to ensure that nobody gets killed. And it’s at this point that I apologise to all the guildmembers who were there last night on our last attempt. If I hadn’t somehow managed to pull, she’d have gone down easily. As it was with 3 dpsers down for the majority of the fight she got to 15% health.
I’m sorry. It was midnight and we’d been raiding for four hours. I was tired. All of this is no excuse, however. I’ll just make damn sure to pay more attention next time.
