The View From Up Here?
March 31st, 2008 Posted in GeneralSo, a month has gone by since our guild passed away. It’s been an interesting time -I’ve been lucky enough to find myself a place in a guild that were running SSC and TK, and since the patch, Mount Hyjal. All very much fun.
Got my first tier-6 level loot yesterday – [item]Pepe’s Shroud of Pacification[/item]. An excellent replacement for the ageing [item]Devilshark Cape[/item], which I’d had for approximately forever.
And what of the patch? On the whole, huge thumbs up. Most of the new content is eye-opening, and the transformation of Shattrath is good to see – progressive content on a larger scale changing the world is just what we want. There’s a couple of annoyances, though very minor. In particular the gnome outside the Scryer Bank who utters the same sentence about waffle irons every 30s or so is just too much to bear. The new quests are widely varying and on the whole require just the right amount of effort (though I’ve still not managed to get a [item]badge of justice[/item] as a reward).
So, at the moment, I’m vaguely happy with how things are within the World of Warcraft. It’d be nice to be raiding with some of the old faces who aren’t with me any more, but sometimes that’s just the way things happen.
