I wasn’t defense cap, low hp and armor, dps classes was shit, healing was intensive(they went oom fast) when we just started doing heroics at lvl 80. Now everything is going smooth so far(granted I run with almost the same group).

I thought it took forever to get my first 60 emblems … and now I’ve already spent 205 emblems and got about 15-20 left.

It get’s better is what I’m trying to say. /pat

GL on Naxx Tankete ^^ early bosses drops some nice tanking gear(I got about 4-5 in 1 night).

I have replaced all of my level 70 gear with crafted epics and blues, blue quest rewards and a few dungeon drops. I think I am a lot better geared than most of the dpsers that have been running with me. I worked hard to be the first in my guild to hit 80 and to get the best gear money could buy. I have maintained my “guild’s MT” status so I’m happy about that. We started 10 man raids this week.

Going to enchant my chest piece with +HP prolly today. Prolly stam to shield too.

Oh yeah I still gotta put a socket on my belt.

I’ve enchanted my chest for defense, but that’s about it I think, apart from the obvious head and shoulder rep-based tanking enchants. Once I get better gear in some other slots I imagine I’ll change the chest enchant for something else.

I’m also not using defense trinkets.

Resocketing is the way to go to get Def Cap if you have Sunwell/BT gear.
Also I reenchanted my chest, cloak and shield for + Defense when I was starting out. Now I can get up to 555 defense not needed but it means I can swap out trinketes

I started clearing heroics with 520 defense but I had to use my cooldowns everytime it was up and CC at least 2 mobs or else I would eat dirt.

Did you replace your shield? The shield from last boss in Nexus was one of my first upgrades, I was using Kazrogal’s before. It has 7400ish armor and good def.
