It took you 3 hours to not even clear the instance? And that’s with a nerf? How can you complain about that?

I guess I’m just not hard-core enough… Spending 3 hours in Kara makes me want to put my fist through the computer screen… I can’t imagine spending 3+ hours in BT or whatever…

I can’t wait for WotLK 10 Man Raids!

I understand your frustration that you wanted to beat the bosses on “normal mode” or pre 3.0 state.

However I thank Blizz for doing it. My guild just got on Twins before 3.0. Monday night we got KJ down. No were not awesome lol. It’s just the encouters have been ridiculously dumbed down its funny (KJ took 2 nights it was still GTFO of the fire problems lol?).

Have fun in sunwell. Some of the encouters were really well thought of even though at its current nerfed state. And if you just focus on sunwell I’m sure you’ll get KJ down (wooot achievment!)

I’ve always thought the difference in the loot shouldn’t be the pieces but the number per person. Say two pieces drop in 10 man and 6 or 7 in 25 man (because really, once your guild can kill the boss, the mechanic whereby you have to kill it a dozen more times is just silly). I think blizzard did say they were upping the amount of loot dropped per boss in wrath anyway.

A good question, and one I hadn’t really considered. I’d mainly thought in terms of the raids in Lich King whereby “Normal” and “Heroic” raids drop loot that’s a tier different. I guess I was thinking that the difficulty should correspond to the loot, though, granted, there’s no real reason for that to be the case.

In any case, very little of anyone’s gear is going to make it to level 80. When last I checked, even my Bulwark of Azzinoth, which was once a massive status symbol, is obsolete by level 77.

Blizz should have thought about your idea to have the option to do a raid at full strength. Even then it wouldn’t be quite the same since everyone’s character was greatly enhanced in the patch.

I am glad to get the chance to see more content but I wish WoTLK release would have been in another 6 months or so. In that time I think my guild would have made it through BT and into Sunwell.

Why don’t you want those casual players to have a chance to get some gear that will actually last them until 80? Giving them tier 5 loot would hardly be fair. All the truly hardcore people I know (who of course finished sunwell ages ago) are resting up for the push to 80 or putting together fun pugs for the content thats easy for them but still new for others.
