Victory or Death!

A nice, smooth raid last night. First four bosses in Mount Hyjal all one-shotted, with a distinctly relaxed air to the raid, followed by a quick trip to Black Temple to take down Teron Gorefiend.

I’ve no idea what was different, but everyone pulled together and worked as a team, and that I think helped enormously. We even got to the stage on Azgalor where too many of Thrall’s group of horde around his hut were alive, and they killed the first doomguard in record time. Then, like any other completely idiotic dpsers, they got bored, ran in and engaged the boss. It was amusing, though I think I’d have preferred them not to stand there in the hellfire and get wiped out. I hate to think what Thrall’s health was at by the end.

For those keeping score, the Tier 6 glove drops we’ve seen so far are now:

Gorefiend went swimmingly well too, but no [item]gauntlets of enforcement[/item] here either. Bah. Now I’ve got nothing to spend badges on it’s like going back to the bad old days of trying to gear up from blue 5-man drops.
