Of Shields, and Shoes and Sealing-wax

Well, maybe not the last two.

Good progress all round tonight, with the first four bosses in ZA one-shotted (and very nearly three down within the timer). Still no shield, though.

Not that it mattered because this evening’s MH went swimmingly. Despite an inauspicious start (last minute cancellations again. Pah – roll on winter), we downed each of the four bosses in short order and I walked away with my very own [item]kaz’rogal’s hardened heart[/item]. Hurrah!

As we didn’t have the right group makeup for Archimonde, we decamped to Tempest Keep. Al’ar seemed much easier than I remember – but that’s probably because our gear is so much better than it was all those months ago when we ran it regularly. Tomorrow: Picking up where we left off, most likely. Kael, your days are numbered.

Oh, and just to prove there’s a cloud to every silver lining, the shiny new shield’s taken me over the hit cap. So I have to grub around rearranging all my sets so that I can make the best use of itemization again. Yawn. I can think of better things to do with my time.
